Vada pav is fast food, the origin of Vada pav was in central Mumbai, vada pav is a combination of potato patty place inside a pav. Vada pav was a cheap street food, now it’s very famous and served at small stalls, restaurants almost all over.
The vada pav become very famous and was consumed all over Maharashtra later on.
Vada pav is a snack that can be eaten anywhere and at any time.
Vada pav is a vegetarian dish. vada pav is similar to a burger.

Goli vada pav
Goli vada pav is a restaurant which was opened in Mumbai, now it’s the chain is over India. The Goli vada was founded in the year 2004 by Venkatesh Iyer. Goli Vada serves many varieties like vada pav, sabudana vada, Dessert.

How to make Chutney

We will make Coconut chutney and Green chutney

A) Coconut Chutney

Recipe Ingredients

  • Dry grated coconut 1cup
  • Garlic cloves 6-7
  • Red dry chili 3
  • Peanuts 8tbps
  • Salt as per taste.

Recipe Process

1. Heat a pan add oil let the oil heat, then add dry red chili and saute it for 2 minutes, once the red chili is fried then transfer it to a plate.

2. Then add peanuts in the same pan roast the peanuts remove it.

3. Add garlic cloves and fry it, again remove the garlic cloves.

4. And add dry grated coconut, switch off the flame and fry the coconut for 2 minutes.

5. Now  blend all this together  and add salt to taste, mix it all together

(Don’t use water, so the chutney is ready).

B) Green Chutney

Recipe Ingredients

  • Green chilies 9 to 10
  • Garlic cloves 6 to 7
  • A lot of coriander leaves
  • Mint leaves
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water as needed
  • Lemon juice 1-2tbsp.

Recipe Process

1. For making green chutney we have to take a blender, add green chilies.

2. Add garlic cloves, coriander leaves, mint leaves, salt to taste, and a little bit of water and blend all this in a fine paste.

3. Then add lemon juice, mix it well.

The green chutney is ready.

1) Vada Pav

  • Pav
  • Boiled potatoes 3
  • Besan 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 3tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2tbsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Rai 1tbsp
  • Amchur powder 1/2tbsp
  • Paste of ginger, garlic 2tbsp
  • Green chilies 5-6
  • Hing pinch
  • Lemon juice 1tbsp
  • Oil as needed
  • Water as needed.

Process

First, we will make gram flour paste.

1.  For which in a bowl we will take gram flour, salt to taste, turmeric powder, hing, and a little bit of oil, mix this well.

2. Now add water in small quantity and make a thick paste, while adding water keep stirring so that no lumps are formed.

3. Then add lemon juice, so that the gram flour puffs.

Now we will prepare the masala for the same.

4. For that take a pan, add oil in it, let the oil heat,  now add mustard seeds, let them splutter.

5. Then add curry leaves and saute it.

6. Then add the ginger-garlic and green chilies paste, saute this for 2 minutes on medium flame.

7. Now add smashed boiled potatoes, let the potatoes cook for some time.

8. Then add salt as per taste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, amchur powder, mix it well.

9. And cook this on a medium flame for 5 minutes.

10. Then add chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame and let it cool down.

11. After cooling, the mixture now mashed the potato with your hands so that no big piece of potato is left.

12. Now from the mixture make small balls.

13. Now heat oil in a pan, now dip these balls in the gram flour paste from all sides.

14.and fry them in hot oil after 2 minutes flip them after frying from all the sides take them out
Serve the vada with pav and chutney.

  • Processed cheese 1cup
  • Milk 1/2cup
  • Butter 3 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 1tbsp
  • Curry leaves 10
  • Ginger garlic paste 2tbsp
  • Green chilies 5-6
  • Turmeric powder 1/2tbsp
  • Boiled potatoes 1cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed
  • Water as needed
  • Gram flour 1/2cup.

Recipe Process

1. Keep a double boiler and add grated processed cheese.

2. Then add milk, butter mix this well and make a fine paste, keep this aside.

3. Then take a Pan add oil to it, add mustard seeds, let them crackle.

4.  Add cumin seeds, add curry leaves, then add ginger garlic paste, add chopped green chilies, saute for 1 minute.

5. Then add turmeric powder, then add boiled potatoes, salt to taste, and some chopped coriander leaves, mix all together, then switch off the flame and transfer the mixture into a bowl.

6. Now make small balls of the mixture.

7. Then take one ball on ur palm or keep on any surface flatten the ball and add 1 teaspoon of cheese which we have made at starting, place one teaspoon and again make a ball of that mixture.

8. How we stuff the mixture into Modak like that only stuff the cheese in the potato balls.

9. Then in a bowl take gram flour add salt and water and make a thick paste of it.

10. In a pan heat oil, then take the stuffed cheese ball and dip into the gram flour paste, cote the paste from all the sides.

11. And then dip fry in the oil. Once it’s nicely golden brown then transfer it to a plate.

Serve with green chutney, red chutney, and some fried green chilies.

  • Ginger garlic paste 2tbsp
  • Green chilies 6-7

  • Boiled potatoes 1cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion 1
  • capsicum 1
  • Shezwan sauce 4tbsp
  • Oil as needed
  • Water as needed
  • Pav
  • Gram flour 1/2cup.

Recipe Process

1. Then take a Pan add oil to it, add mustard seeds, let them crackle, then add cumin seeds, add curry leaves.

2. Add ginger-garlic paste, add chopped green chilies, saute for 1 minute.

3. Then add turmeric powder, then add boiled potatoes, salt to taste, and some chopped coriander leaves, mix all together, then switch off the flame and transfer the mixture into a bowl.

4. Now make small balls of the mixture, then take one ball on ur palm or keep on any surface flatten the ball.

5. Then in a bowl take gram flour add salt and water and make a thick paste of it.

6. In a pan heat oil, then take them and dip into the gram flour paste, cote the paste from all the sides and then dip fry in the oil.

7. Once it’s nicely golden brown then transfer it to a plate.

8. Then take a Pan add butter, let the butter melt.

9. Add chopped onions, chopped capsicum, saute for 2 minutes.

10. Then add the main ingredient schezwan sauce mix it well and cook for another minute.

11. Now take pav and cut the pav from between/ middle and place into the schezwan paste.

12. Then flip the pav and remove it from the pan place on a plate keep the garam/ hot vada on it put some sev on the top and serve the schezwan vada pav.
