Booze is not the best thing to consume right after a workout. Yes, liquid and beer do have carbs but alcohol in beer makes it dehydrating. You can hydrate the body with water. Booze will not help with recovery after a workout. You can eat something which will be helpful to normalize your body and later may head to booze if you want to.
