Recipe Ingredients
- Boiled potato 3
- Bread slices 10 to 12
- Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
- Dry fruits 50 g
- Grated coconut 1 cup
- Cardamom powder 2 tsp
- Oil as needed
- Water 1 cup.
Tips
- Make use of fresh coconut, it well enhances the taste of the recipe.
- You can make use of normal sugar if you don’t have powder sugar.
- Or else blend the sugar in a blender.
- Adjust the quantity of sugar as your requirement.
- If you are using raisins add it once the stuffing is cooked half.
- Seal the edges properly, else it may get split into the hot oil.
- You can give the kachori desire shape.
Process before cooking
- Grate the fresh coconut.
- Chop dry fruits, of your wish, I have used cashew nuts and
- Boil the potato, add salt while boiling.
- Once it at room temperature mash it properly.
How to make Sweet Kachori Recipe
Stuffing for Kachori
1. Take a pan, add 1 cup of freshly grated coconut.
2. Keep the flame slow, add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.
3. Add 2 tsp of cardamom powder.
4. Mix it well together.
5. Cook the stuffy until the sugar caramelises.
Outer covering
6. Take the mashed potatoes in the bowl.
7. Now take a small bowl of water.
8. Deep each bread slice in water.
9. And squeeze out all the excess water from the bread.
10. Add it to the bowl of mash potato.
11. Now knead the potato and bread mixture into dough.
12. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
13. After resting the dough, take a small portion of dough.
14. And flatten it with the help of fingers.
15. Keep the edges thin.
16. Then place the stuffing if bread and potato in the centre of the flattened dough.
17. And seal the edges of dough properly.
18. Fill the stuffing in all the remaining dough.
19. Now head enough of oil in the vessel.
20. Deep fry the kachoris on high, medium flame.
21. Fry it until it’s nice crispy golden brown.
22. Transfer the fried kachori on a kitchen paper towel.
The recipe is ready to serve.

- ½ cup Powdered sugar
- 50 g Dry fruits
- 1 cup Grated coconut
- 2 tsp Cardamom powder

- 1 cup Water
B) The Second way to make Sweet Kachori
Recipe Ingredients
- Boiled potato 3
- Rajgira flour (Royal Grain) 3 to 4 tbsp
- Dried grated coconut 1 cup
- Grounded peanut 2 tbsp
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Dry fruits 4 tsp
- Chopped green chillies 2 tsp
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Salt to taste.
Tips
- Instead of dry coconut, you can use wet coconut also.
- Instead of Rajgira flour, you can make use of Varicha Flour (Samo seeds) or Sabudana flour (Tapioca).
- The Rajgira flour helps to bind the mixture well and it makes sure the Kachoris won’t break.
- Adjust the sugar as per your requirement.
- You may increase the green chillies if you like more spicy.
- You can shallow fry instead of deep fry.
The process to make the outer covering of Kachori
1. Take a bowl, add 3 boiled potato in it.
2. Mash the potato well.
3. Add 4 tbsp of Rajgira flour.
4. Then add salt to taste.
5. Now mix it well together and bind it together in form of dough.
6. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
The process to make stuffing of the Kachoris
7. Now take a bowl, add 1 cup of grated coconut.
8. Add 2 tbsp of Grounded peanut.
9. Then add chopped dry fruits.
10. Add sugar 2 tbsp.
11. Then add 2 tsp of finely chopped green. chillies.
12. Add 1 tsp of lemon juice.
13. Then add salt as per taste.
14. Mix everything well.
15. Now apply little oil on the plam so that the dough won’t stick.
16. Take a small portion of dough on plam.
17. And flatten it with the help of fingers.
18. Keep the edges thin.
19. Place the stuffing in the centre.
20. And close the edges and give it a ball shape.
21. Heat oil in a pan.
22. One by one put the Kachoris in heated oil.
23. Fry it until it’s golden brown.
24. Then transfer it to a plate.
Our Sweet Kachori is ready to serve.
Mithi Kachori Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 no Boiled potato
- 3-4 tbsp Rajgira flour (Royal Grain)
- 1 cup Dried grated coconut
- 2 tbsp Grounded peanut
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 4 tsp Dry fruits
- 2 tsp Chopped green chillies
- 1 no Lemon juice
- to taste. Salt
Serving Tips
- Serve the delicious Kachori with hot tea.
