Tapioca Pearl Recipe Ingredients
- Sabudana 1 cup
- Water as required
- Green chilies 3
- Tomatoes 2
- Peanuts handful
- Coriander leaves
- Ginger 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Boiled potatoes 2
- Ghee/ oil
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder 1tsp
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Sugar 1 tsp.
Recipe process
The main process of the Recipe
1) Take a Pan/ vessel add 1 tbsp of ghee/ oil.
2) Now add a handful of peanuts in the pan.
3) Roast the peanuts until it’s golden brown, then transfer to a plate.
4) In that same pan add 1tsp of cumin seeds and finely chopped green chilies, ginger.
5) Now let it fry until it cumin seeds crackle and the ginger won’t smell raw.
6) Then, add chopped tomatoes, fry this for 2 to 3 minutes.
7) Add boiled chopped potatoes (you can also mash the potato instead of chopping).
8) Fry it for 3 minutes, then add soaked sabudana.
9) Add salt to taste.
10) Now add 1tsp of black pepper powder, mix this all together.
11) Then add the roasted peanuts, add 1tsp of lemon juice.
12) Add 1tsp of sugar, again mix it well until it combines well.
13) Now add chopped coriander leaves, and switch off the flame.
The Khichdi is ready to serve.
Serve the Khichdi with yogurt.

- Sugar 8 tbsp

Sweet Sabudana Khichdi
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sabudana
- as required Water
- 8 tbsp Sugar
- handful Peanuts
- as required Ghee/ oil.
Sabudana Vada( Cutlet )
Recipe Ingredients
- Soaked Sabudana 1/2 cup.
- Boiled Potatoes 4
- Roasted peanuts powder 1/2 cup
- Sendha salt as per taste
- Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
- Green chilies 3-4
- Coriander leaves
- Chat masala powder 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
- Oil/ghee.
Process for making the Recipe
1) For making the Recipe we have to soak the tapioca pearl and also boil potatoes.
2) Peel off the cover of boiled potatoes.
3) Take a bowl, add soaked sabudana in it, then grate the boiled potatoes (you can also mash the potato)
4) Then, add ground roasted peanuts, and sendha salt(you can also add normal salt)
5) Add black pepper powder, and chopped green chilies.
6) Then, add chat masala powder, garam masala powder.
7) Now add chopped coriander leaves.
8) Now mix this all together and make a nice dough.
9) Apply a little bit of oil/ ghee on your palm, so that the dough will not stick to your hands.
10) Take a small amount of dough on plam and try an give it a round shape, flatten it by pressing it.
(The shape of the vada depends on you, you can make small or big as per your wishes)
11) Like this only make all vada from the remaining dough.
12) Now heat a pan, add ghee/ oil to it.
13) Place the vade on the pan, keep the flame low-medium.
14) cover the lid and let it cook for 5 minutes.
15) Then, open the lid and check whether it’s golden brown, then flip the vade, and again cover the lid and cook for 5-6 minutes.
( Cook the vade until it’s golden brown)
Serving Tips
Serve the vade with yogurt.
It can also be served with green chutney or tomato sauce.
Sabudana Vada
Ingredients
- ½ Cup Soaked Sabudana
- 4 no. Boiled Potatoe
- ½ Cup Roasted peanuts powde
- as per taste Sendha salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
- 3-4 no. Green chilies
- Coriander leaves
- 1 tsp Chat masala powder
- ½ tsp Garam masala powder
- as needed Oil/ghee.
Sabudana Kheer
Recipe Ingredients
- Soaked sabudana 1 cup
- Water as needed
- Milk 1 liter
- Sugar 1/2 cup
- Ilaychi powder 1 tbsp
- Saffron little bit
- Dryfruits handful
Process for making the Recipe
1) Take a vessel, add 1/2 cup of water, let it boil
2) Then, add milk, now take a bowl add saffron and add 2 tbsp of milk.
3) Let the milk come to a rolling boil, then on low flame cook the milk.
4) Now add soaked sabudana, cook this on a medium flame for 10 minutes, stirring continuously.
5) Once it becomes transparent, then add sugar.
6) Add ilaychi powder, then add saffron milk.
7) Then, add chopped dry fruits, mix this well.
8) And cook for another 5 minutes.
9) Stir the kheer and switch off the flame.
Serving tips
Keep the kheer in the fridge for 1 hour and then serve.
